Flexibility: goals can be rigid, this can lead to frustration if not achieved. Systems are flexible and adapt to changing circumstances, allowing for continuous progress.

Focus on process: systems emphasise actions and habits that facilitate progress. For example, instead of setting a goal to lose weight -> focus on exercising daily and eat healthy.

Long-term sustainability: systems promote the development of lifelong habits, which makes them more sustainable in the long run.

STEPS TO BUILD EFFECTIVE SYSTEMS..

  1. Clearly define what you want to achieve. What do you want to achieve in one year? What are your five-year goal -> The purpose will guide the creation of the system.

  2. Break down your goals: decompose your goals into manageable tasks.

  3. Create checklist: develop a daily checklist for tasks that need to be done.

  4. Establish routines: design daily and weekly routines to maintain consistency.

  5. Measure progress: this will give you a sense of achievement.

  6. Simplify Processes: try to reduce complexity as much as possible. Simplicity makes the process easier.
