Design for productivity
Knowledge is good, the application of knowledge in the right direction is better. But that requires action...

What if you could turn productivity into a design issue? You can "design" productivity into your day by making some changes in your routines.
Here are some things you should consider:
A "productive day" starts the night before. It begins with a solid evening routine. One effective strategy you can implement is called "TWD" o Technology Wind - Down, this means shutting off all your devices one hour before bed (If you plan to sleep at 11pm then no devices after 10pm).
Research shows that digital screens can reduce the melatonin production by up to 50%.
A quality sleep is non-negotiable.
Always "think for 5 sec" before "reacting". Too often people begin their day reactively by immediately checking their social media, telegram, slack and other things... essentially reacting to others agenda's and information. Instead dedicate your first 60 min on your most 3 important task.
The power of single tasking. Start setting appointments with yourself like you're doing with others. Consider how you approach meetings with others, you wouldn't check your social media or browse the web because you respect the other person's time. Apply the same respect to appointments with yourself.
